Mr. Daniel,
Please be specific on the parcel correction and how it will now read as a deeded parcel for this Raccoon Bluff property on Sapelo Island.
Also, the attached file shows the illegal structures per McIntosh County Building and Zoning Ordinance section 515 county Code built and/or being built on Sapelo Island. As the Tax Assessor’s Appraiser of McIntosh County have you then officially authorized these buildings by placing tax assessments on them?
Section 515 HH, Hog Hammock - District Intent
The purpose of this district is to allow continued use and activities of the unique needs in regard to its historic resources, traditional patterns of development, threat from land speculators and housing forms. It is the intent of this district to reserve this area for low intensity residential and cottage style industry uses which are environmentally sound and will not contribute to land value increases which could force removal of the indigenous population.

The property tax cards for McIntosh County Tax Assessor are currently in violation according to David Mixon, Region VII Supervisor for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Resource Division. Mixon
stated that “Wray Avera does not have any authorization to own or possess any property at Raccoon Bluff from The Dept of Natural Resources, which includes the Wildlife Resources Division, nor does he have any authorization from the Sapelo Island Heritage Authority. Therefore, the McIntosh County Tax Assessors office has committed an unauthorized property tax card recording for Wray Avera concerning 33.33 acres located on Sapelo Island’s Raccoon Bluff Historic District.
